Desk Detox: functional yoga for "work from home" bodies

For many of us, we've set up our desk in the comfort of our own home. Whilst this way of working can be practical, habits like poor posture and lack of movement can lead to unnecessary tension and stress in the body.

In this workshop, you'll be guided through a sequence aimed at releasing tension in the neck, shoulders and upper back, plus a wrist care routine to ease repetitive strain. To maintain the health of your spine, you'll strengthen the back of the body and take your hips through both active and passive ranges of motion, combatting the stressors from a day of sitting. Simple breathing and meditation exercises will be woven throughout, to ease the stress of adapting to this new way of living.

This workshop will give you simple, accessible and easy-to-understand tools that you can do anywhere, anytime. An aftercare package of 3 x short audio classes will be provided.
