Yoga for Runners, Cyclists & Movers

  • YogaHaven, Clapham 63 Wingate Square London, England, SW4 0AF United Kingdom (map)

The repetitive motion from running, cycling and other sports shortens certain muscle groups, making them tighter, less stable and impacts on your ability to train. Yoga can help to improve overall performance by releasing tension in overworked areas, creating greater muscle awareness and using breathwork to unlock your full potential.

In this workshop, you’ll be guided through a sequence aimed at easing tension in the legs, creating mobility around the hips, engagement of the core and finding freedom in the spine. Coupled with breathwork and mindfulness exercises, you’ll explore the importance of creating mind body connections to take your training to the next level.

Whether you’re a marathon runner or a weekend cyclist in the park, learn how yoga can help you train smarter, prevent injuries and heal faster.

Open to all levels of yoga experience including beginners.
